Ikechukwu Sharpe is a mixed media artist who weaves raw and curated sounds with moving and still imagery to capture the “Black Glow” that pervades and upholds American society.

Born in Germantown, Maryland, Ikechukwu’s desire to combine disparate aspects of life is rooted in his early years, where his mother would carry with her a camcorder to record his childhood and growth. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in digital media, writing and marketing at Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore, where he chronicled his own maturity while witnessing both the injustice and beauty of the city.

He is currently based in Los Angeles, California.
